At Smile 1 Dental Group your health and safety is our first priority. Based on guidelines by the American Dental Association (ADA), and Georgia Dental Association (GDA) the following protocols will be implemented in our office effective immediately.

All elective dental procedures will be resumed on Monday, May 4th, 2020.

We will be open with limited hours and staff during this time. If you have a scheduled appointment, our dental team will call to confirm your appointment or reschedule based on the urgency of the dental procedure. If you have a new dental emergency, please call us and we will be happy to help you. Our front door will be locked, please follow signs posted on the door.

To help with social distancing and minimize the risk of the Coronavirus spread, we ask that you wait in your vehicle upon arriving for your dental appointment and give us a call at our office number. We will inform you when we are ready to get you back.

Georgia Dental Association (GDA) guidelines states that people with the following criteria are considered high-risk and should reschedule their dental appointment. Please inform us if any of the following apply to you:

• Fever, cough or shortness of breath
• Significant chronic illness or a compromised immune system
• Previously asked to self-isolate or self-quarantine
• Close contact to an individual diagnosed with COVID-19 infection

We will be checking the temperature of our patients and team members upon arrival. Anyone showing signs of infection will not be seen. We will continue to practice strict universal infection control protocols in our office, as we always have, for your safety.

We hope this disruption to your dental services is temporary and short lived. We thank you for trusting us to be part of your healthcare team and look forward to serving you.
